Michael Datch, M.D.
Dr. Datch has also been practicing as a pediatrician for more than 35 years! Dr. Datch joined this practice after completing his residency at Children’s Hospital in Washington, D.C. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Montgomery County Medical Society and participates in many seminars and educational courses. When not providing care to our patients, Dr. Datch enjoys sailing, fishing and traveling.
Cynthia Fishman, M.D.
Dr. Fishman completed her residency at Children’s Hospital and has been with our practice for almost 12 years. She is very passionate about her work and enjoys helping our patients in any way she can. She is an active member in the medical community in participating in numerous committees and training seminars. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Montgomery County Medical Society. Dr. Fishman has a 5 year old daughter and 1 1/2 year old son who keep her very active when not in the office. When she has a free moment, she also enjoys reading, going to the movies and having quality time with her husband.
Stuart Weich, M.D.
Dr. Weich has been practicing for more than 16 years. He has been with our practice for 7 years. He is extremely dedicated to his patients and enjoys the challenges of being a pediatrician. He is the former Montgomery/ Prince George’s County representative for the Executive Committee of the state chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of the Montgomery County Medical Society. Dr. Weich has a second passion besides medicine. He also enjoys music. He has already participated in many productions in the area as the musical director and playing an instrument. He has many more projects in the works for the upcoming year! His three children also keep him a very active dad!
Robin Chernoff, M.D.
Dr. Chernoff joined our practice in September 2003. She specializes not only in General Pediatrics, but also in Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics. She has been a pediatrican for almost 2 decades and joins us from Johns Hopkins University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. She brings a tremendous passion and eagerness to help our patients and assist the families in any way she can. Dr. Chernoff is married and has four children.
Jeannine Mogavero, M.D.
Dr. Mogavero joined us from the Boston area in July 2005. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has a special interest in asthma and respiratory issues. You will love Dr. Mogavero from the first time you meet her. Her smile and happy personality are contagious and the kids love it! When she isn’t devoting her time to our patients, she enjoys spending time with her puppy “Rocko” and her husband.
Liza Burns, M.D.
Dr. Burns joins us from residency at Children’s Hospital in DC! She has a daughter, Avery, born in July 2005 and as son born in June 2007. She is thrilled to work with children every day. Being a mom she can relate and understand the sleepless nights and anxiety that goes into raising a child!
Stacy Stryer, M.D.
Dr. Stryer works mostly out of our Rockville office two days per week. She has been in the Washington DC area for most of her life and has a passion for outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, cycling and water sports. She worked at Kaiser for many years before taking a hiatus to spend time with her family. She has been in practice as a pediatrician since 1994. Since she joined our practice in June 2006, she has had the pleasure of meeting several of our patients for the first time and even running into those she has cared for in the past at Kaiser. She also serves as a research consultant for the Revolution Health website.
Kristen Dorsey, M.D.
Dr. Kristen Dorsey has been with us full time since 2007 but was here with us during here residency rotation starting in 2005. We are delighted to have her as a colleague and she really enjoys seeing our patients. She has lived in the area most of her life and loves the Silver Spring area. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, taking vacations (particularly warm weather places:)) and shopping. She loves being a pediatrician and looks forward to being at Children First taking care of patients for a long time!
Kathy McCue, PNP
Kathy McCue, PNP is joining our practice in October 2009. She has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for about 8 years and has a true passion for helping children. She was a registered nurse in the medical field for many years before she became a nurse practitioner. She also has a passion for newborns and helping new mothers with breastfeeding. She is a Certified Lactation Consultant and can rent equipment as well as assist patients with their breastfeeding needs. We are please to have her on our staff and can’t wait for our patients to get to know her!
